Information About the Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) is available for those individuals who have been laid-off (through no fault of their own), are long-term unemployed while actively seeking employment, or are living below the poverty guidelines as set forth by the State of Georgia.
The goal of the WIA is to provide participants with the opportunity to be trained in a marketable skill allowing them to return to the workforce and earn a stable income.

Veteran Educational Benefits - Individuals who are of Veteran Status may be eligible for funding. Check with your agency counselor. |
|
TAA (Trade Adjustment Assistance) - Individuals who are affected by Foreign Imports may be eligible for funding. Check with your agency counselor.
